About the Author
Brian Jacques was a British author known for his Redwall series of fantasy novels. He was born in Liverpool, England, in 1939. He served in the Royal Navy for six years before becoming a teacher. He began writing the Redwall series in 1986, and it quickly became a bestseller.
Jacques died in 2011, but his Redwall series continues to be enjoyed by readers around the world. He has been praised for his vivid imagination, his engaging characters, and his ability to create a rich and detailed world.
